Sweeteners We Use
Monk Fruit and Erythritol Blend
We use a blend of monk fruit extract and erythritol as our primary sweetener.
Monk fruit contains natural compounds called mogrosides. These compounds are not processed by the body as glucose and do not raise blood sugar in the same way or to the same extent as traditional sugar.
Erythritol is a sugar alcohol that is absorbed in the body but is not significantly used for energy and has minimal effect on blood sugar in most individuals when consumed in typical amounts.
What this means:
This combination provides sweetness while keeping blood sugar impact significantly lower than traditional sugar.
What We See in Practice
Based on internal observational testing using direct blood glucose monitoring, our products tend to produce smaller increases in blood sugar compared to traditional desserts.
For example:
